# How do I apply my member discount or credits?

Lindywell members may have two types of credit available in the shop: a member discount that applies automatically when logged in, and referral credits earned through the Refer a Friend program. Referral credits are applied at checkout under Available Credit or Coupons. Note that credits cannot be applied toward membership renewals — they are for shop purchases only.

Should you have any member credits or discounts available for the [Lindywell Shop](https://lindywell.com/shop/?utm_campaign=Products&utm_source=KnowledgeBase), here is how to apply them to your purchase:

1. Add items from the [Lindywell Shop](https://lindywell.com/shop/?utm_campaign=Products&utm_source=KnowledgeBase) to your cart and select **Proceed to Checkout**.

3. At checkout, open **Available Credit or Coupons** and choose the offer you want to apply.
