# Understanding Your Breath Test Results

[The Breath Test](https://app.lindywell.com/breathwork/test) in your Lindywell app is designed to give you simple insights into your breathing, lung efficiency, and overall wellbeing. It’s a tool for awareness and progress,  not perfection.

**What you can learn from testing regularly**  
Monitoring your breath over time can help you notice patterns, celebrate improvements, and recognize how lifestyle choices impact your respiratory health.

**Why consistency matters**  
Regular breath testing can give you a clearer picture of your lung and cardiovascular fitness. Over time, practicing breathwork may also help strengthen your lungs, improve oxygen flow, and increase resilience.

**Important to know**

- Breath tests are not medical tests. They cannot replace pulmonary function testing by a healthcare professional. If you have concerns about your respiratory health, always check with your provider.
