# What is the Breath Test?

[The Breath Test](https://app.lindywell.com/breathwork/test) in your Lindywell app is a simple tool that measures how efficiently your lungs are working. It can give you insights into your breathing, cardiovascular fitness, and overall wellbeing.

By tracking your results over time, you can notice patterns, celebrate improvements, and use the information to better support your health and energy.

**A few safety notes:**

- Always listen to your body and stop if you feel lightheaded.
- It’s best to take the test on an empty stomach.
- Please avoid using the Breath Test if you’re pregnant or have significant health concerns, unless cleared by your doctor.
